Health Story

I was diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma in 1998, a few months after my 17th birthday. At the time, I was told this was terminal but, thankfully this was incorrect. The tumour sat in my pelvis, attached to L4 and L5 in my spine. This image represents the deformity to my disc left by the tumour and subsequent osteoporosis. Health to me means making the most of what you have and incorporating wellbeing and movement into your life, no matter what your ability is.
