Health Story

I’m Shreena Patel, founder of Art by Shree, an award-winning abstract artist inspired by spirituality, texture and my South Asian heritage. Living with ulcerative colitis, I’ve endured oral chemotherapy, including during pregnancy, and repeated steroid treatment causing further health issues. Painting became my therapy and healing. Today, I use art to inspire resilience, representation and creativity through bold contemporary work.
